How it works

If you've never been to a pottery cafΓ© before, it's honestly very easy.

  1. Choose your piece

Browse the shelves and pick something to paint, then choose your colours. Allow about 15 minutes for this β€” mugs, plates, figurines, keepsakes, there's a lot to look at.

  2. We'll get you started

How to use the paints, how to get the best results, and any ideas you need. Studio assistants are on hand throughout.

  3. Relax and paint

That leaves you around 1 hour 30 minutes at the table. There's no pressure, no experience needed and no right or wrong way to decorate.

  4. Leave it with us

Glazed pieces are ready in around 14 days. Acrylics are much quicker β€” usually two or three days, and if we're not busy we can sometimes have them ready within half an hour.

What our customers say

Tonight myself and 4 friends booked the adult evening and we have a fabulous evening. Katie was so helpful and explained everything so well. It was such a fun and relaxing thing to with friends. Highly recommended.
I cant wait to take my little girl.

Last week we arranged for our two groups of local Brownies and Guides to visit the pottery studio for a 90 minute painting session. Every aspect of the planning was so easy, and Forresters gave us pricing options for the girls so that on the night we would know that everything they were painting would be within our budget. As a local charity, we were offered the choice of a 10% discount or a donation of the same amount towards our unit, which we thought was so generous and community spirited!
Our girls piled into the studio on the night and had a great time creating their ceramic figures. Everything that we needed was provided and our models were varnished for us ready for collection in time for our next meeting. We highly recommend a visit with your family or youth group to Forresters, what a fantastic new location in Rainham. Thank you!

Do I need to book?

When booking, let us know the total number of people at the table, not just those painting β€” including any babies.
